In Castlot, there are two factions, Bright and Dark. Each faction has its own Troops to assist the lord to fight in the fierce battlefield.
The Troops of the Bright
There are six kinds of recruitable soldiers in the Barrack of the Bright: Spearman, Elven Archer, Hussar, Frostfire Mage, Mercenary and Condottiere. Unlike those four basic troops that consume resources and time, Mercenary and Condottiere can be recruited instantly with Magic Potions.
Spearman
They carry the pikes that can resist the attack of Hussars.
Elven Archer
They master the excellent marksmanship desired by each archer.
Hussar
They have high mobility in the attack and robbing, leaving no time for the enemy to respond.
Frostfire Mage
They can release the ice and fire in long range with amazing power, but they move slowly with weak defense, and become vulnerable in close range fighting.
Mercenary
They are the fighters merely living on war. Where there is war, there they will be. Mercenaries recruited will be dismissed at 00:00 every day.
Condottiere
They are always in demand because of their callous attitude and inner loyalty. Condottieri recruited will be dismissed at 00:00 every day.

Halberdier
They carry the halberds that can resist the attack of Hussars.
Drow Archer
They can give a deadly blow silently and quickly with their arrows pouring down on the enemy.
Plunderer
They often leave the enemy no chance to react because of their high mobility. They were born to burn and loot.
Voodoo Mage
They can throw Venom in long range with amazing power, but they move slowly with weak defense, and become vulnerable in close range fighting.
Mercenary
They are the fighters merely living on war. Where there is war, there they will be. Mercenaries recruited will be dismissed at 00:00 every day.
Condottiere
They are always in demand because of their callous attitude and inner loyalty. Condottieri recruited will be dismissed at 00:00 every day.
