How do I breed and get cool horses?
There are 3 different ways to breed your horses, using 3 different buildings:
The Breeding Station: Allows you to breed one of your horses with horses from the public breeding association.
The Breeding Meadow: Allows you to breed one of your horses with horses from your riding pals.
The Breeding Paddock: Allows you to breed two of your own horses.
Once your horse is an adult and ready for action, you can send him to one of the 3 buildings.
Then, you'll be asked to choose the partner you want to go with.
Afterwards, you can use breeding badges and/or splicers to increase the chances that your foal will have certain attributes you would like it to have.
Then, your foal will take a minute or so to come out of the building and you will be able to name it!
Oh look! It’s a filly! Give her a name.
How do I earn breeding badges and what do they do?
You earn breeding badges as rewards when you master a discipline or gain competence with one of your horses! With breeding badges, you can increase the chances your foal will have certain attributes you would like it to have.
What types of care can I give my horse?
Your horse will indicate what it needs via a bubble above its head. Completing these actions will make your horse happier.
How do I teach my horse?
You can send your horse to learn skills once he is ready to do so. Bring him to the round Pen and choose what you want him to do. You can choose from:
Reining
Barrel racing
Saddle seat
Racing
Trotting
You can also use the arena and the stadium to train for competitions.
Horse Bucks
This is the primary currency in the game, and it allows you to buy items in the shop. In addition to receiving bucks through normal play, you can buy Horse Bucks with Facebook Credits. Click on "ADD" to get more.
Facebook Credits
Some buildings, accessories, or decorations in the game are only available with Facebook Credits. To purchase these, click on the "ADD" ****on next to the Facebook Credits icon.
I've lost Facebook Credits and/or Horse Bucks. I paid for an item but never received the item. How come?
It's possible that you've successfully made a payment with the game, but have not yet received the game item. Be aware that during periods of high traffic, it can take up to 3-4 hours for purchased goods to appear in your account. If you think there's an issue with the game not delivering a good or service, please follow these steps:
Go to your Payments Tab in your Account Settings.
Click to view your Credits Purchase History.
Verify that your transaction was successful by reviewing the receipt associated with your payment.
Ensure that the item(s) you ordered have not been delivered in your game, noting that it may take up to 4 hours for virtual item purchases to be reflected in your game or app.
If you have confirmed that your item was not delivered, notify the developer of the app by clicking the "Didn't receive this item" link in the Detailed Receipt.
Follow the instructions to notify Facebook and contact the developer regarding your problem receiving virtual items.
The fastest and easiest way to report a Facebook Credit problem is to use the "Report/Contact this App link at the bottom of The Horse Haven game page.
Select the third option, "Dispute an item purchased while playing Horse Haven" and follow the directions.
If you have lost Horse Bucks or if you have issues with the explanation above, please click on the Ask a Question tab near the top of this page to submit a support request to us. When submitting your ticket, please include yourFacebook UID, the email address of your Facebook account (if different from your Uplay account), and a detailed description of your problem. We'll investigate your request and get back to you as soon as possible.
How do I expand my ranch?
Go to the shop at the lower-right corner of your screen.
Go to the expansions tab in the shop and buy your expansion. You can then choose where to expand from your current ranch!
What is the map for?
You can find the map icon on the left side of your screen:
Once you click on it, you can see the map of the area, the different competitions your horses can enter, and the criteria required to participate in advanced Quests.
When one of your adult horses is ready, you can send him to a competition by sending him to the Sign Post or Bus Stop, which you will discover when expanding your ranch for the first time. Please note: Only horses that are action-ready and who meet the minimum proficiencies can engage in map area competitions.
What kind of buildings can I add to my ranch?
You can purchase several types of buildings in Horse Haven. Each type of building affects your ranch differently.
Horse Stable
This is where your horses live. The stable allows you to place horses inside of it, in case your ranch gets too crowded. Be sure to keep plenty of horseboxes available.
Beauty Salon
Allows you to customize and style your horses
Rainbow
Allows you to bid your retired horses farewell
Toolshed
Expands the maximum constructible items you can store by 10 each.
