Dragon Nest Archer Guide (Sniper & Warden)

Seeing there are so many new players / new archer players with the release of 50cap, I think it may be beneficial to make a guide with basic information.

**NOTE: this guide is for pure PVE and for Lv50**

Archers in general are considered one of the top DPS classes in the game, behind engineers and elementalists. However, most archer skills have low damage output and thus the DPS for archers come from crit (obtained by stacking agility and critical stats).

Before going into Sniper and Warden in depth, I will talk about skills on the archer tree first.

Twin Shot - max this skill. one of archers top dps skills, low cd for decent dmg.
Tumble/Power Tumble/Aerial Evasion - archers need to evade a lot, max these.
HP Bolster - max this skill to maximise HP
Multi Shot - although SS likes to be mid/long range attackers, sometimes you will find yourself in close range situation and this is one of the most devastating close range skill. decent dps. Warden should leave this at 1, Sniper should level this to 6 or 11 or max it at 16. personal preference here but remember you need 45sp to learn your ultimate skill at lv40.
Magic Arrow - long range and decent to break stuffs in nests and dungeons (however tumbling shot and frag arrow can do this too). Warden leave this at 1. Sniper dont need to learn.
Pin Wheel - learn this so you can get back up easier and faster.
Mental Fortitude/Attuned Mind - learn these and keep at lv1. however if you have MP problems you may want to level up Attuned Mind.
Fury of the Owl - no sp needed to learn. free skills and increase party crit by 10%. 10s cd for 180s duration, permanent buff.
Wisdom of the Owl - Crit is harder to max at lv50, this skill increases crit by 50% but for a short duration, duration increases as you level up this skill. If you have crit problem or party a lot, you should consider max this skill. personal preference here, can leave this at 1 or don't learn at all.

SNIPER
Sniper has the longest range in the game and focus on physical damage. Main stat will be agility as it provides both physical damage and critical.

Hidden ability:
Agi Vit HP for armors/necklace/earrings (Str Agi HP is ok too)
Phy Str Agi for weapons/rings (having phy, agi, and crit on the same ha is best but very hard to get)

Craft/Suffix:
Windswept craft to max agility bonus in armors. no windswept option for mittens so Life-Giving/Sturdy/Adorned may be what you want. Some people craft Will on mittens, the effect is ok but it gives lower agility so its personal preference.
Myself: windswept for hairband, dress, leggings. lifegiving for mittens, booties
Windswept for Longbow
Windswept/Destructive/Sturdy for Quiver (personal preference)

Enhancement Plates:
Life-Giving and Health plate for HP
Windswept for crit and phy
Fierce for crit
Destructive for phy
Brutal for extra phy
last 2 is optional: ultimate for fd, sturdy for def, adorned for mag def, mystical to boost magic dmg.
Myself: using ultimate and mystical at the moment.

Skill Plates:
Charged Shot - 50% action speed
Aerial Chain Shot - 20% damage
Twin Shot - 20% damage
Last plate: option between arrow barrage, rain of arrows, ankle shot (all dmg)

Gears:
Option 1: 4 totem (2 victor/2 totem) / 3 corrupted with apoc accessories
OR
Option 2: 5 totem / 2 corrupted with windswept neck/ear and destructive/fatal rings

Option 1 will need crit ha and agility/critical 3rd stat plates to max crit.
Option 2 can max crit with ease and maintain a high phy dmg.

Sharpshooter skills
Learn everything except hawk ballista, stunning shot, crossbow mastery, and sylph's aid. Please not that sylph's aid will be extremely useful in the future so you may want to save 5sp to max that later.

Charged Shot - maxed
Aerial Chain Shot - maxed (best dps skill for SS)
Ankle Shot - maxed
Spiritual Focus - maxed
Walking Target - maxed
Longbow mastery - maxed
Fake shot - learn and leave at lv1 or don't learn at all. (semi useful in pve)
Tumbling shot - Lv1
The magic tree line - all lv1 or you can level up frag arrow if you want.
siege stance - lv1 (will be more useful at later update)
rain of arrows - lv1 or lv6 or max (personal preference, but if you have RoA skill plate, should max this skill.

Sniper skills - learn everything.


WARDEN
Warden uses mid/long range attack and focus on magic damage. Main stat will be intellect and agility for magic damage and critical.

Hidden ability:
Int Vit HP, Agi Vit HP, Agi Int HP for armors/necklace/earrings
Mag Agi Int for weapons/rings (having Mag, agi, int, and crit on the same ha is best but very hard to get)

Craft/Suffix:
Windswept or Intellect craft to agility/intellect bonus in armors. no windswept/intellect option for mittens so Life-Giving/Sturdy/Adorned may be what you want. Some people craft Will on mittens for higher intellect so its personal preference.
Windswept for Longbow or Crossbow
Windswept/Magic Power/Adorned for Quiver (personal preference)

Enhancement Plates:
Life-Giving and Health plate for HP
Windswept for crit
Fierce for crit
Mystical for mag
Wise for mag
last 2 is optional: ultimate for fd, sturdy for def, adorned for mag def

Skill Plates:
Frag Arrow - 20% damage
Aerial Chain Shot - 20% damage
Last 2 plates: options between hawk ballista, swift shot, rapid shot, and guided missles.

Gears:
Option 1: 4 totem (2 victor/2 totem) / 3 corrupted with apoc accessories
OR
Option 2: 5 totem / 2 corrupted with wise/windswept neck/ear and mystical/fatal rings

Sharpshooter skills
Learn everything except fake shot, stunning shot, crossbow/longbow mastery (whichever bow you choose to use dont learn the other mastery), and sylph's aid, siege stance, rain of arrow. Please not that sylph's aid will be extremely useful in the future so you may want to save 5sp to max that later.
