Josh Howard Makes His Return

Josh Howard (Was- SG, SF) has been out since January 5th. This season he has only played in a total of eight games (not including Sunday night's win over Cleveland).

Howard's knee injury has kept him out for most of the 2010-11 season. Recently his injury status has gone back and forth, but he felt well enough to play in last night's game. In fact, it was the first game he started this season.  "Josh Howard said his knee felt fine following the game." - Yahoo! Sports

In his first start of the 2010-11 season, Howard had 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3 3PTM, 2 steals and a block. He managed to produce these numbers, shooting 54% from the field and playing only 25 minutes.

"The Wizards are a bit banged up at small forward, but expect Howard to be worked back into the rotation instead of receiving heavy minutes right away." -Rotowire.com

Currently, Josh Howard is only owned in 14% of all Yahoo leagues and is also this week's most added player. If he stays healthy, he would be a decent source of points, and a good source of 3's and steals. Pick him up if you have bench space, otherwise put him on your watchlist to see how he plays in his next few games.

Washington's next game is Wednesday night against the Magic.
