Release Date on Diablo 3?

Blizzard is notorious for pushing back their release dates, but recently I have been checking all over the web to find a somewhat realistic release date for Diablo 3. After searching for about a week, I have continually found sites which claim that Diablo 3 will be released TBA 2011. However, today I checked IGN to find a Diablo 3 release date on Dec 31, 2011.

The bad news is that yes, the projected release date is more than a year away from today. The good news is that World of Warcraft: Cataclysm has been released, which means that Starcraft 2 Expansion and Diablo 3 are the two games likely to be released by Blizzard in 2011. Hopefully, Blizzard releases the date of the Diablo 3 Beta soon, so we will have a better idea of when the actual release date will be.
