Chase Budinger Playing Great As Of Late

Chase Budinger (Hou - SG, SF) has been playing great over his last few games, and he has seemed to find his shooting stroke. Although, he has played an average of only 21 minutes per game, he has been extremely efficient. Over his last four games, he has averaged 2.8 three-pointers, 14.0 points and 4.0 boards, while shooting 67.7% from the field. Budinger spoke of his recent high level of play saying that, "he tweaked his form and might have solved the problem."





Although Chase Budinger has not gotten much burn this season, if he continues this hot streak his minutes will increase. I would say that this guy would be a great pickup in the short-term if you need 3's and some points, especially in deeper leagues. If he continues this pace, his fantasy value will skyrocket in the next week or so. Keep your eye on this guy as the Rockets play their next few games. Houston's next game is Wednesday, January 5th, against Portland. We will see if Budinger is the real deal or just a four game fluke.
